We are all part of larger networks and true innovation requires that we understand how to work within these.  This course will train you in the application of ‘Open Innovation’:  working with external partners and organisations to build collaborations, share knowledge, opportunities and resources and to build together solutions that you could not develop on our own. 

Key Learning Outcomes:

·        What is an Innovation Ecosystem?  Identify which organisations are in your wider network, how they could impact the development of innovation projects and how to manage and benefit from these relationships

·        Understanding Knowledge Exchange – Understand how knowledge and insight generated within networks and how you can identify opportunities and potential collaborations within your network.

·        De-risking projects – Explore how to build effective partnerships with external organisations and suppliers to build.

·        Stakeholder relationships – Identify the key stakeholders within your network, understand how to strengthen these relationships to build support for innovation initiatives.

Delivery:

3* 3-hour online sessions (A total of 9 hours), delivered via Zoom as a mix of teaching and online workshop facilitation and tools to apply within the workplace.
